ELIZABETH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — The ATF and the FBI are conducting a raid on a building in Elizabeth, New Jersey which is believed to be the last known address of a man wanted in in connection with the explosion in Chelsea on Saturday.
The NYPD tweeted Monday morning that authorities were seeking 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami in connection to the incidents in Elizabeth, Chelsea and Manhattan. He is a naturalized citizen from Afghanistan.

The FBI swooped down on the First American Fried Chicken restaurant towards an apartment above the fast food joint on Elmora Avenue, which is owned by Rahami’s family, WCBS 880’s Sean Adams reported.
Federal sources told CBS News that they believe Rahami is also connected to an unexploded pressure cooker device found near the Chelsea blast, an explosion in Seaside Park, New Jersey and five explosive devices that were found at a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Longtime customer Ryan McCan used to talk with Rahami about cars.
“He never seemed out of the ordinary, which is Americanized,” McCan said. “You would’ve never knew anything.”
It is unclear if it is connected to a suspicious device that exploded near a train station in Elizabeth early Monday morning while a bomb squad robot was trying to disarm it.
CBS2 has reached out to the ATF and FBI as well as Elizabeth police.
Rahami is about 5’ 6” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and brown facial hair.
